Yumminess! 8-5

The slow start to Utah's summer this year meant a slow start for our garden. It took until the beginning of August to finally be able to start reaping what we'd sowed.

To celebrate our first crop, we invited friends over to partake of the goodness.




















Our pretty beets on top of arugula...all from the garden except the walnuts.















Cheeses and pistachios to compliment the beets:















Amazing cherry tomatoes (they're seriously like candy) and basil from the garden with fresh mozzarella.















Olive oil we helped "make" in Sonoma with yummy bread.















Grilled veggies from our garden...with a few supplements.















We've also been experimenting with a few new recipes in the kitchen. A couple of our favorites are a black bean burger (no picture...sorry), and homemade gnocchi...super delicious!















This time of year is FAVORITE!
